TotalFood operates a unique supply chain that manages and monitors prawns from farm to fork using best practice techniques and cutting-edge technology. No other Bangladeshi seafood processor comes close to matching it.

The company’s new processing plant (opened in 2023) was built to the highest international food hygiene standards. Able to process 60 tonnes of prawns daily, and boasting 2,500 tonnes of frozen storage, it includes its own clean and wastewater treatment plants. Every step in the production and distribution journey has been examined and optimised to match the needs of demanding international wholesalers and retailers.

It should surely come as no surprise. TotalFood’s seafood brands have been making waves for nearly 30 years now. Its UK arm has been importing and distributing frozen fish, meat and poultry to leading restaurants, wholesalers and retailers in and around London since 1996. Together, they have helped build a clear picture of what customers and diners really want – full-bodied, flavoursome, ethically sourced prawns and ‘ready-to’ meal ingredients that have been thoughtfully prepared in a hygienic environment.
